Dear Friends and Loyal Customers:
Since our transformation in 1992 of the original Fireside along with the merging of the Fireside and the Riviera Restaurant in 1998, the result has been a successful operation with fine dining and impeccable customer service. It is with great sadness, we inform you that after 13 years at this location and serving Orange County for over 40 years, Riviera Restaurant @ The Fireside will be closing the doors for good. Our last day of business will be Sunday October 23rd, 2011.
We thank you greatly for your patronage over the years and look forward to seeing you during our last month of operation. |
| The Riviera
Restaurant and its continental tradition of dining has been a part of Orange County Scene
for over thirty years. It was one of the first classical gourmet restaurants of its kind
when it opened in the South Coast Plaza in 1967. After thirty years of successful
operation in South Coast Plaza, this award winning restaurant has moved to the City of
Westminster in the location of another legendary landmark restaurant "The
Fireside." Consistency from day one is one of the reasons Riviera has maintained its first class food quality and service. The majority of kitchen and dining room staff including the chef and manager have been with the Riviera for over twenty five years. Riviera is one of the few restaurants in Southern California that still offers tableside food preparation and Flambé dishes such as Caesar Salad, Spinach Salad with hot bacon dressing, Filet Diane, Pepper Steak Flambé, Duckling A L'Orange, Cherries Jubilee and Crepes Suzette. |
